We ordered for five people, different pastas and entries, and everything was exceptionally good service was very fast and the price the quality of the service and food

The food and wine are excellent here. Sometimes a large group will come in and cause a heavy workload on the wait staff. This happened on our second visit and we waited almost an hour after our reservation time to be served. Our waiter was very apologetic and the food was worth the wait. The pasta was very tasty and not undercoooked as it has been in several restaurants we have experienced. The Modus Nobili wine is excellent and not overpriced. They do a good job on their meat dishes also, such as the Fiorintine steak.

Delicious food, sat on the edge of a street watching the world go by. Just perfect!

Great if you like a formal dining setting but still with friendly and attentive service.

Most of all it is the food. Very high quality and innovative. We enjoyed chicken liver, poached egg with mushroom and truffle, sliced beef with roast potatoes and semifreddo (fig and cherries). fantastic wine selection, too. So good we immediately booked to return for lunch tomorrow.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gallo Nero and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, Antonio and Kristina, our servers, greeted us with warm smiles and impeccable service. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home.The true star of the evening, however, was the chef. The food that was presented to us was nothing short of marvelous. Each dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The chef&#39;s creativity and attention to detail were evident in every bite.Not only did the chef create delicious dishes, but they also surprised us with thoughtful presents throughout the meal. It was such a delightful touch that truly made our dining experience one to remember.

This is an OK restaurant, belonging to the local net red restaurant, has a very beautiful decoration, and the taste of the dishes is not bad.

I am a concierge guest host, bringing guests to Siena every week on tours through Tuscany. Il Banderino is consistently good. Although it could be considered as &ldquo;touristy&rdquo; as it is on The ZCampo, it is still one of my favorite places in Siena. Some of the best Pici Cacio e Pepe ANYWHERE. During tonight&rsquo;s meal, a HUGE storm blew up and forced all of the al fresco diners inside. The team there quickly moved all inside and worked tirelessly to accommodate every guest! Grazie Louie for coming to our rescue!!!

We were looking for a quick bite and ended up sharing a pizza on a Saturday evening. It was busy but we got a table at 8pm on the main square. It was a little loud but overall great atmosphere and delicious food!

Upon arrival this restaurant was the busiest and we realised why soon after sitting.It created a buzz atmostphere and all the food looked amazing.Staff were friendly, vino nice and cold!

Excellent food in an authentic unfussy eaterie near the centre. Interesting and clever fresh food. Highly recommended for lunch

If staying in the hotel, conveniently located, if not, still conveniently located. Regional cuisine with excellent service. Although its a hotel restaurant, still excellent regional food.

Food was somewhat bland, based on the previous  reviews I expected more. The people were very nice. Great wine list. Just a ok experience.
